What we collect through terconstruction.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are
TER Construction (“TÈR Construction”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a general contractor specializing in structural work: additions, new construction and whole-home remodels for homeowners and designers across Palm Beach County, Florida. Florida Certified General Contractor, licence CGC1534465. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at terconstruction.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What personal information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a limited amount of technical information your browser sends automatically.
Information you provide. When you submit our Start Your Project form we collect your name, your email address, your phone number, the city or town the property is in, the type of project you are planning, your budget range, your timeline, and anything you write in the message field.
Information collected automatically. When you use the site our website host records standard request information, including your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string and the pages you request. We use it to operate the site securely and to prevent spam and abuse, not to build a profile of you.
We do not collect health information, government identifiers or payment card details through this website, and we do not ask you to create an account.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, to schedule and prepare for a site walkthrough, to prepare a budget, to deliver work you engage us for, to keep records of our correspondence, and to meet our legal and licensing obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Project inquiries and the contact form
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection to our website host and delivered to our team so we can follow up. We keep them for customer service and record-keeping purposes, and we do not add you to a marketing list from a project inquiry without telling you.
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you at that number about your inquiry, by call or text. Standard message and data rates may apply, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Cookies and tracking
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This website does not currently set analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, and it does not run Google Analytics, an advertising pixel or any similar tracker. Nothing on the site follows you across other websites.
If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent through a banner before any such cookie or tag is loaded, with the ability to decline and to change your mind later.
Content embedded from other services
The service-area section of our homepage embeds a map from Google Maps. The map loads only when you scroll to it, and when it loads your browser contacts Google directly, which means Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. We do not control what Google does with it; see Google’s Privacy and Terms. The town list beside the map carries the same information, so you can read it without loading the embed.
Who we share your information with
We share personal information only with the service providers who help us run this website and respond to inquiries, and only as far as they need it to do that work. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Today that is our website host, Vercel, together with the embedded map described above.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our clients, our team or the public.
How long we keep your information
We keep inquiry and project correspondence for as long as we need it to serve you and to satisfy the record-keeping obligations that apply to licensed contractors in Florida, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, as described below.
How we protect your information
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole site, access controls that limit staff access to the people who need it, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these safeguards seriously.
Data breach procedures
If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain it, and notify affected individuals and the appropriate authorities where the law requires us to.
Your privacy rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity first. We may have to keep certain records for legal, tax or licensing reasons.
Some states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Virginia, give their residents additional rights over their personal information. If you live in one of them and you are entitled to exercise a right we are required to honour, contact us and we will honour it. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Third-party links
This website may link to other websites, including those of the providers named above. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies separately.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and bottom of this page. Material changes will be highlighted here.
